United States Navy Equipment: A new retriever craft was tested at Longview Texas, The vehicle travels on four of the largest rubber tires in the world, enabling it to straddle a 67 ton vessel and lift it from water. It was built to rescue stranded or capsized craft. The unit is 75 feet long, 38 feet wide and 22 feet high. The four feet wide tires give flotation and traction on poor terrain.
