Vietnam War - The Department of Defense says this photograph, taken June 1, shows the damage done by the US bombing of the Viet Tri railroad and highway bridge located approximately 26 miles northwest of Hanoi, North Vietnam. One span of the bridge, near the top shoreline, was dropped into the river and a second span received extensive damage. The photo was released Friday in Washington.
