The stars of a brigadier general were pinned on Colonel Richard T. Cuneo Tuesday by his wife, Janet, and Major General Herbert R. Hackbarth, Rubicon. Cuneo's 9 year old daughter, Mary, was at left. Cuneo is assistant commander of Wisconsin's 84th Army Reserve Training Division. The ceremonies were held at the Reserve Training Center, 4828 W. Silver Spring. Dr. Cuneo works in advertising sales for The Journal Company. He lives at 5221 N. Idlewild Ave., Whitefish Bay. Cuneo has been an officer in the division since 1949. He is also a Journal employee.
