A car in which newsmen were riding into Gaza burned Tuesday after hitting a land mine left by retreating Egyptian troops. Associated Press photographer Kurt Strumpf, suffering from a head injury, made this picture moments after the blast destroyed the vehicle. Reporter Ben Oisstermann of the Canadian Broadcasting Co. was killed and two other newsmen were injured. Middle East, miscellaneous.
