Britain's first sea lord to visit United States---Admiral Earl Mountbatten of Burma, Britain's first Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff, is due to arrive in Washington on Thursday (October 27). He will be accompanied by his wife Countess Mountbatten, and will have discussions with his American opposite number, Admiral Raleigh Burke, Chief of Naval Operations, and with Admiral Jerauld Wright,Supreme Allied Commander (Atlantic)/ His tour will take him to United States Naval establishments at Patuxent (November 1), and Annapolis (November 2), Key West (November 4), and Philadelphia (November 5).
