Promoted to the rank of first lieutenant, Jerome B. Rick, of the U.S. Army Mobility Equipment Command, with his wife, Penelope, and four-month-old son Andy at his side, receives the insignia denoting his new rank from Major General Charles C. Case, commanding general, at ceremonies at the command headquarters, 4300 Goodfellow Blvd. Lieutenant Rick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Rick, 1343 E. Saveland Ave., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a 1966 graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He entered the Army February 8, 1967 and attained his commission upon graduation from Officer Candidate School at Fort Eustis, Virginia. He joined MECOM in January, 1968, and was assigned duties in the Directorate of Supply. The lieutenant's wife, also of Milwaukee, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Biesiandny, 4515 N. 73rd St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Lieutenant Rick and his family live at 4308 St. Mihiel Ct. in St. Louis.
