Vietnam War - Defense secretary McNamara used this night photograph, showing a truck convoy in North Vietnam on June 14, at a Pentagon news conference Wednesday. He said the photograph pointed up what he called the substantial "volume" of infiltration and "growing importance" of Vietnam. Fifty-one trucks were in the convoy.
