1965 Press Photo Rebel, his hands up, captured by American troops, Santo Domingo

A rebel who had been sniping at American troops in Santo Domingo was captured Friday by soldiers. One GI prodded along around a corner where a second soldier was in firing position. Soldiers said the rebel was seen firing fro a house. The Dominican threw his rifle away before he was captured (United States) (Wars) (Dominican Republic)
