1985 Press Photo Model Trains speeds down track, Lionel Railroad Club, Milwaukee

A speeding train moved through a scale model diorama of a coal-loading facility displayed on the tour. The trains were rolling around Milwaukee Sunday as the Association of Model Railroad Clubs held its third annual club layout tour. Model rail buffs got a chance to see train layouts at the Lionel Railroad Club, 10236 West Fond du Lac Avenue, Milwaukee Model Railroad Engineers, 5601 West Florist Avenue; and Society of Engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Downtown. The clubs also displayed their portable layouts at the Red Carpet Regency Lanes, 6014 North 76th Street. (Railroads, models)
