1982 Press Photo Tom Ahern competes in log sawing contest, Milwaukee sports show

Tom Ahern, a reporter for The Milwaukee Sentinel, competed in a log-sawing contest Tuesday at The Milwaukee Sentinel Sports-Travel and Boat Show at MECCA. Although Ahern was equipped with a chain saw, his competitors on a two-man hand saw finished first.
