Space Center, Houston: Apollo 8 commander Frank Borman places a lei on his wife Susan as they arrived home December 29 following the return of the Apollo 8 astronauts to their homes and families. This was the first reunion of the astronauts and their families since the historic moon flight, Borman brought the lei from Hawaii where the crew changed planes after their flight from the recovery ship.
