First Presbyterian Church at Superior, at the right, above, was built in 1924 to replace a log structure is said to have been the oldest church edifice in the city, erected in 1855. The bell in the tower has the distinction of being the oldest church bell at the Head of the Lakes, being brought here 80 years ago from Chicago by an Indian missionary.
