1993 Press Photo Milwaukee County workers demonstrated outside Lakeside Buses

About 50 workers from throughout Milwaukee County demonstrated Thursday outside the offices of Lakeside Buses of Wisconsin, to support the right of Lakeside workers to join Amalgamated Transit Union Local 998. Bruce Colburn, secretary-treasurer of the Milwaukee County Labor Council, said 90% of the school bus company's 300 workers had signed cards saying they wanted to join the union.
