Scott Gilbertson of Kewaunee waits with Somer, his guide dog, for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduation ceremonies to begin Sunday. Gilbertson did not use the excuse, "my dog ate my homework," trying to convince the photographer that his dog took all his tests in his place. Gilbertson graduated with a degree from the School of Social Welfare with a double major in criminal justice. Heather Pfeifer, also graduating with a criminal justice degree, helped him with the course reading.
