Matt Durovy of Hartland calls his employer from a pay phone Monday morning in downtown Hartland to see whether he has to report for work at the Chilstrum Electric Company in Milwaukee. There was no answer and he said that he probably would not go into work. Up to a foot of snow is expected to fall today, closing many businesses and schools in the first blizzard of the season.
