Signed up for Spring classes, graduate student Greg Hopper, 27, of Waukesha, waits in the student union at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for a ride home after registering Wednesday for spring semester classes. Hopper, who has been ill, left the hospital a day early in an effort to beat the rush on the second day of UWM's registration. He arrived at 6:30 a.m. but when the doors opened two hours later, there was no crowd. Hopper got three of the five classes he wanted.
