1980 Press Photo University of Wisconsin-Superior student and the Barstow Hall

It was a great spring day, warm and bright, when the photographer visited the University of Wisconsin-Superior campus, and he found Barbara Hall (below), 21, of Woodstock, Illinois, soaking up some sunshine. That's Bartstow Hall, a science building, in the background. Some 2,149 students called the campus home for this school year. Students from half of the states and 12 foreign countries are in school there.
