For young trumpeter, sound of music is a clarion call. At age 18, trumpeter Jack Sutte of Oconomowoc already has made a mark in the musical world. Today, he's moving on to Philadelphia's Curtis Institute of Music, where he's beginning studies on a full scholarship. As Dorothy Thompson, his grandmother, known as Grandma Dot to the family, puts it: "He has done so much for someone so young." Shown here playing with his spirited 10-month-old English springer spaniel, Buster, Sutte is the subject of today's People in the News Column.
