Description
Dawn Snow is trying to get guns out of the hands of minors. West Allis, Dawn Snow didn't know David Adisek very well. He was just the boy she sat next to in civics class at Kilmer Alternative High School last year, the playful one who could always make her laugh with his jokes and teasing. But last week, when she heard that Davis, 16, had been shot to death at a gas station, Dawn felt the blow with a force that surprised her. So she decided to try to do something about it. What Dawn, 17, is doing is something her former civics teacher might appreciate. With the help of her friends and her mother, she is circulating a petition urging local and national officials to keep guns out of the hands of minors.

Photo measures 6.5 x 10 inches. Photo is dated 07-18-1989.
