Displaying the same depth and talent they used to win the conference indoor meet, Waukesha South scored a big victory Thursday at the Braveland Conference Relays meet. Brookfield Central finished in second place, and Mukwonago, which finished seventh at the conference indoor meet, improved dramatically at the really, finishing in third. Brian Wagner of Waukesha South (top right), a senior with the best time in the state in his event, the 800; Brian Wagner, who starred in cross country and track at Waukesha South, ha signed a letter of intent to attend the University of Montana this fall. Wagner closed out his prep career with a third place finish in the 800-meter race at the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 1 boys state track meet Saturday in La Crosse. He plans to run cross country and track for the Grizzlies and to pursue a degree in biology.
