Description
New York: Barbara Timm waits to fly from New York's Kennedy International Airport April 14 as she begins a journey to Iran in a bid to see her son, U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Kevin Hermening, one of the Americans held hostage in the U.S. Embassy in Tehran. Mrs. Timm succeeded in seeing her son, spending 45 minutes with him inside the U.S. Embassy compound April 21. "We never quit holding hands," she said. "There was a lot of hugging, a lot of touching, there were no tears. I kept telling him how strong he was, and he kept telling...strong I was."
