1986 Press Photo Leah Tolly saved Jeff Haug's life last April, Eau Claire, WI

Eau Claire, Wisconsin--Leah Tolly is 5 feet 1 3/4 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds--hardly heroic dimensions. But don't tell that to Jefff Haug. When his life was on the line, "Leah was the person to be there," Haug says. "She was very calm. She's one in a million...I was lucky she was there." April 26 is a day Haug barely remembers, but one Tollt will never forget. On that day, her heroism was proved.
