1982 Press Photo Garden Homes School gather funds Janice Terry Heart Fund

Fourth graders at Garden Homes School, 4456 N. Teutonia Avenue, gave Betty Dyson $140 Wednesday for the Janice Terry Heart Fund. Dyson is con-chairman of the fund. The youngsters raised the money by selling popcorn and unwanted toys. Terry, 30, a mother of two, suffers from an incurable heart disease but lacks the money for a heart transplant. The fund has now raised about $38,000, which will be used to help pay Terry's medical bills.
