Sunday was the perfect autumn day for little ghosts and goblins to roam the city in search of Halloween treats. Many area groups tried to provide alternatives to trick or treating, for the safety of the children, but that didn't seem to deter the costumed clowns ringing neighborhood doorbells and attending parades and parties. Now that the day for costumed goblins has passed, the stage is set for Thursday, when the real demons of Halloween will have their day. October 28, 1985 Halloween
