Herbert Baker, president of Tornado Products, Inc., stands amid about 60 of the patented garden chipper/shredders made by the company. Baker designed the machines. The chipper/shredders were awaiting one part prior to shipment from the Tornado factory at the Goodwill facility at 2800 W. Capitol Dr. The machines use Briggs & Stratton Corp. engines. Since starting production earlier this year, Tornado has sold about 1,000 units.
