1993 Press Photo Agnes Meathbaker surrounded by toy bears, London auction house

Agnes Meathbaker, 3, holds Elliot, a unique blue, plush-covered teddy bear, while surrounded by 200 other teddy bears that were displayed at a London auction house. Elliot is the only blue Steiff bear ever made by the German soft-toy manufacturers in 1908. It was sold earlier this month for a new record price of $73,755 to a Canadian collector, much to the surprise of the auction house.
