A crowd filled Independence Square in Independence, Mo., over the weekend for the unveiling of a statue of former President Harry S. Truman, President Ford spoke at the ceremony. The statue - which shows Truman in full stride - was placed in the square where Truman used to take many strolls. Memorials.
