1980 Press Photo Construction of the East Plaza Office Complex in Milwaukee

Construction is still below ground level as the beginnings of Plaza East, a twin office building project Downtown, take shape. The $16 million, 14-story building and underground parking area - under construction in the massive excavation directly east of the MGIC Plaza - is a joint venture of MGIC Investment Corporation and the Urban Investment and Development Company, Chicago, Illinois. A second tower will be built later, sponsors have said. The view was toward the southwest. (Milwaukee, Wisconsin).
