1989 Press Photo Dancers in "Men's Dances" Alverno College, Milwaukee

Like the Marines, Milwaukee's choreographers are always looking for a few good man. They're hard to find; in America, men don't dance, especially on stage. But that did not stop Diane VanderHei from realizing her ambition of assembling a troupe of man and staging a concert for them. "Men's Dancing" opens at 8 tonight in Alverno College's Pitman Theater.
