1985 Press Photo Carlene Kaplan led blind puppet over Kay Silverwood's leg

Carlene Kaplan (right), 16, led a blind puppet over an obstacle created by Kay Silverwood, 15. The puppets, each worth about $900, are called the "Kids on the Block" and they are used to teach young children about people with handicaps.
