1993 Press Photo Dept. of Natural Resources films commercial in Madison mansion

A precedent-setting coalition of business and environmental groups is working with the Department of Natural Resources to produce and distribute a message offering tips on how folks can slash holiday-season waste. Filmed last Thursday at a Madison mansion, the commercial will be broadcast around the state through the end of the year. It features Byron Heusdens as Sherlock Holmes and Michel Skewes (seated) as Holmes' assistant Dr. Watson. Working the sound is John Duxbury and the camera operator is Jeff Soellner. Environmentalists, grocers and merchants worked together on the waste-reduction message.
