Frederick Freeman, 16, started his job search (top) by filling out an application at Northcott Neighborhood House, 2460 North 6th Street, with the help of Veronica Keys, a clerical worker. He earned some money painting an elderly neighbor's garage (left) after stopping home to talk with his father, Freddie outside their North Side home (above). Teenagers.
