John Stollenwerk, president of Allen-Edmonds Shoe Corp. of Port Washington, shows some of the shoes he's taking to Tokyo in an effort to crash Japan's largest shoe trade show. He said he's angry that the US shoe industry has not been permitted to participate in the show, Stollenwerk left for Japan Thursday. John Stollenwerk is going to Tokyo to sell shoes.
