Block after block of homes were destroyed or severely damaged in Topeka, Kansas, by one of its 15 tornados which ripped through the sate Wednesday night. The damage in Topeka, hardest hit by the twisters, was estimated at 100 million dollars. At least 17 persons - 16 of them in Topeka - are known dead. Disasters - storms - US.
