1966 Press Photo Georgia Skelton, was accidentally shot in hotel room, Las Vegas

Georgia Skelton, 42, wife of comedian Red Skelton, was shot accidentally in the left chest Tuesday in her room at the Sands hotel in Las Vegas. Her husband was informed after a performance there and rushed to the hospital where she was reported in satisfactory condition.
