Former National Football League star Bubba Smith will star as Lyman "Bubba" Kelsey, a member of an elite crimefighting team in the ABC television Network's new, action/adventure series, "Blue Thunder," which airs Fridays (9:00-10:00 p.m., EST). "Blue Thunder," which is based on the hit motion picture of the same title, follows the adventures of a group of tough crimefighters who man and support an incredible armored helicopter.
