Salute To Comrades -- World War I veteran Tom Tearney gave a snappy salute as he attended last year's Veterans Day program at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, where he lives. Tearney, 89, formerly of Friendship, will be doing the same thing again today as residents of the home remember the country's war dead. Featured at the program this year will be readings and patriotic songs by home members and by students from Waupaca High School.
