1982 Press Photo Gregory Price Testifying at the James M. Schoemperlen Trial

Milwaukee Police Officer Gregory Price (left) testified Wednesday at the trial of his partner, John Cieciwa. Price said he saw Cieciwa strike James M. Schoemperlen with his police flashlight. Officers Cieciwa, Allan Miller and Domonic D'Acquisito are charged with aggravated battery and obstructing an officer in the alleged beating of Schoemperlen. Schoemperlen (above) and his wife, Geraldine (right), also testified at trial.
