More than one kind of fisherman hopes to snare a trout at the Port Washington power plant. Thomas Flom of West Bend cranks in a nice-size brown trout (at left and below) in the swirling waters of Sauk Creek and the inner harbor of Port Washington. Bottom photo: At the same location, a black mink, nicknamed "Buddy" by the fishermen, stitches a discarded brown trout left by someone who didn't want it and tugs it under the fence. Buddy might think that he is being foxy, but fisherman leave him the smaller fish they don't want to keep.

Photo measures 10 x 7 inches. Photo is dated 2-17-1995.
