An amateur collector for 25 years, Rust became an avid professional five years ago when she began bringing her collection of old jewelry and stories to meetings of club and business groups. To help her audience get into the spirit of things, she wears a period costume for her presentations, which includes a display of her jewelry collection, a slide show and historically appropriate background music.
