George Shannon an author of children's books and a professional storyteller from Eau Claire, had a captivated audience of children 4 to 6 years old Tuesday when he visited the Brookfield Public Library, 1900 North Calhoun Road. A native of Kentucky , Shannon moved to Eau Claire several years ago to try his hand at writing and telling tales. In his visits, he likes to get his younger audiences involved in helping him illustrate his stories.
