School offers needed shelter--Homeless people found a bedroll on the floor preferable to the open streets during the recent stretch of late winter cold. The overflow shelter at Shalom High School, 1749 North 16th street, was opened because the Guest House of Milwaukee Inc., 1216 North 13th Street, often has been filled to capacity this winter.
