Shelter homes - Children slept and played in the dormitory room at Saint Martin DePorres House of Hope in Chicago while their mothers attended a parenting session n the room. Sister Connie Driscoll (at right), executive director of the shelter for homeless women and their children, played with her adopted daughter, Molly, 8 1/2 months old, in the convent on the second floor of the shelter.
