Dorothy Specht - "Years of volunteer activities have been years of getting more than I give." When the girls, Darlene and Donna, were grown, their mother joined the Woman's Club of West Allis, serving as scholarship chairman, two years each as vice president and president of the 4th and 5th District, Wisconsin Federation of Women's Clubs. As a district president she was also a member of the federation's state board.
