Demonstrations of shearing, spinning and weaving wool was held at East Library, 1910 E. North Ave. Upper: A closeup of wool being spun onto a large spool. Left: Bob Darling demonstrated the technique of weaving, Lower: Devin Kavhatone, 6,a pupil at Milwaukee Montessori School, tried spinning wool with the help of Dorothy Spransy, who teachers the craft. The "Sheep to Shawl" program was presented in cooperation with The Wool Works as part of National Spinning and Weaving week
