From interurban trains to nuclear power generation, the Wisconsin Electric Power Company has traveled far in its 75 years. Organized January 29, 1896, the utility has long been a leader in serving Wisconsin. The first unit of the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant north of Two Rivers (above) started commercial operation last December.
