An estimated crowd of 250,000 persons jammed the street in front of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw Wednesday to listen to an address by Wladyslaw Gomulka, new Communist Party boss of Poland. Gomulka said that Russian troops would remain in Poland as long as there were North Atlantic Treaty Organization bases in West Germany.
