Donald Wiberg, a retired engineer and a shareholder in Payco American Corporation, had one small request at the end of Payco's annual meeting last week: Could the board of directors please stand up? They happily honored his request. Wiberg and other shareholders later were invited to mingle with management over cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
