Description
Entrevaux, France: The village of Entrevaux in southern France has become famous overnight for its "Bleeding Finger of a Wooden Statue' and people from all over the country are flocking to the scene of this modern "Miracle." Church officials have so far made no comment on the subject. The statue of Saint Ann, Mother of the Holy Virgin, belongs to Jean Salate, owner of the Hotel Du Var. It was Salate who broke the statue's finger in a fit of anger. The next morning he was stunned to find a red, blood-like liquid dripping from the shattered finger.

Photo is dated 1954.

Photo measures 7.25 x 9.25 inches.
