Alfonzo Salazar Jr., 27, appeared in court Wednesday on two charges of first-degree sexual assault, one charge of armed robbery and one charge of false imprisonment. Salazar is accused of abducting a woman from the Southbridge Shopping Center parking lot in Greendale on Oct. 2, repeatedly raping her and forcing her to withdraw $250, which he took, from a TYME machine. Salazar's picture was taken by a camera at the TYME machine, leading to his arrest. Arraignment proceedings were continued to Monday to give Salazar's lawyers time to exchange information.
